Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Dealerexport ("the Service"), provided by Dealerexport Limited ("we", "us"), an Irish company. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

We provide a web-based tool to list and manage vehicle stock and to syndicate listings to third-party marketplaces. The service is provided "as is" — we work hard to keep it up but don't guarantee uninterrupted access.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Your content

You own everything you upload — vehicles, photos, descriptions, customer details. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, store and transmit it solely to provide the service. We won't use your content for marketing, training AI, or any purpose outside running your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

• List stolen vehicles or vehicles you don't have the right to sell
• Misrepresent vehicle specs, mileage, accident history, or ownership
• Spam, scrape, or attack our infrastructure
• Resell access to the service to other dealers
• Violate Irish law, EU consumer law, or the rules of the marketplaces we sync to

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.

5. Pricing & billing

• Free tier is free, forever, up to 5 vehicles.
• Paid tiers are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• Prices include VAT where applicable.
• You can cancel any time from your billing page; access continues to the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are at our discretion — generally yes for technical fault, no for change of mind.

6. Marketplace integrations

We syndicate to third-party marketplaces (Carzone, CarsIreland, DoneDeal, etc.). We don't control their fees, policies, or uptime. Your relationship with each marketplace is between you and them.

7. Reservations & deposits

The reservation feature is a record-keeping tool only. We don't process customer deposits — that money flows directly between you and the buyer. We don't arbitrate disputes between dealers and their customers.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We're not liable for lost profits, lost customers, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that can't be limited under Irish law.

9. Service changes

We may add, change, or remove features. If we materially reduce a feature you're paying for, we'll give 30 days' notice and a pro-rata refund if you cancel because of it.

10. Termination

You can close your account from Settings. We may suspend accounts for breach with reasonable notice (immediate for serious breaches like fraud or attempted security violations).

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Irish law. Disputes go to the Irish courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We'll email account holders at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
